Copper is the medium Mike used to convey his favorite plant; cactus! These 17″ high x 8″ wide x 5″ deep copper light sconces have a textured finish that looks like the red rocks they grow in. The light is diffused in the front through cutouts covered with amber mica.
Mike sculpts each cactus leaf individually, patinas them to look like nature created them, and solders them together to form the prickly pear cactus that he admires so much in our desert. These cacti are attached to the front of the copper light sconce and the mica cutouts look just like a beautiful desert sunset.
Another version of the copper lighting is the natural copper leaves added to a simple burnished copper light sconce.
The desert shines from sunup to sunup in these original copper light sconces.
