It was a chevron plate. I used to get so discouraged when this happened. They are summer at its best- red, orange and gold. Even Pantone named this gold their \u201cColor of the Day\u201d yesterday- <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pantone.com\/pages\/colorstrology\/colorstrology.aspx?from=hpmodule\" target=\"_blank\">Sunset Gold<\/a><\/strong>. Every hour of the day has a new light shining through the squash blossoms that share this amazing yellow<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2155\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mikedumascopperdesigns.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Squash-Blossom.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2155\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2155\" src=\"http:\/\/mikedumascopperdesigns.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Squash-Blossom.jpg\" alt=\"Squash Blossom by Mike Dumas Copper Designs Inc.\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mikedumascopperdesigns.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Squash-Blossom.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.mikedumascopperdesigns.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Squash-Blossom-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2155\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Squash Blossom<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The red is actually called <em>Tomato Red<\/em>\u00a0and I\u2019m keeping vigil on my tomato plants to see that color before the squirrels do. The orange is as warm as the Arizona citrus that zings up our summer salsa.<\/p>\n<p>No wonder my eye was drawn to this plate.
