Copper Shop Lighting<\/p><\/div>\n

This has been happenin’ in the copper shop! These beautiful lights were custom made for a home in our area. They reflect the red sand of our desert and the black slate of the nearby canyons.<\/p>\n

They’ll welcome guests with warmth and remind the homeowners that our desert is a unique and soothing place to come home to. They’ll set the stage for their new gathering place. Lights are a perfect accent for inviting conversation and creating a mood. We wrote more about that HERE<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Progression in the copper shop<\/h3>\n

The progression from raw materials to finished art-form is really cool to watch. From the copper sheets that are delivered in rolls, Mike begins the process of creating unique hand formed lighting that stands out from the ordinary. The texture and colors of the lights are inspired by the deep reds\u00a0and bold blacks that surround our home in the desert. Ancient volcanoes left their footprint in miles of lava flows just up the road. Primitive waters left sandstone cliffs that frame our morning view.<\/p>\n

Mike has the making of his lights down to a science. The textured pieces take hours to hand form. The raw copper tops and\u00a0backing, with their pieces all punched and rolled to his perfect measurements are patiently shaped.<\/p>\n

And the finished lights become a warm welcome for homeowners who want to make a personal design statement, with innovative lighting and sustainable art. Copper lighting invites gathering and conversation for people who are inspired by nature.<\/p>\n
