Custom\u00a0furniture-fireplace cabinet<\/p><\/div>\n

Custom furniture creates a distinct design statement. When we receive and order for something unique and personal to a client’s home, we give it a lot of thought\u00a0and attention. Curating\u00a0a collection of hand made furnishings for the home adds such a\u00a0personal touch and our hope is that the pieces will live long in the space.<\/p>\n

Mike’s been working on a fireplace surround, stunningly\u00a0accented with copper, for clients who are collectors. This project\u00a0has two side cabinets of alder wood, with glass inserts in the doors. I’ve been anxiously waiting for photos of the finished piece to share with you. The copper on this work of art is surfaced\u00a0and patinaed with Mike’s signature\u00a0colors and textures. Inspired by nature, the finish is done with heat and strong hands<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Building\u00a0a collection of custom furniture<\/h2>\n

Earlier this year, the clients commissioned a bed which I shared with you here<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. We love it when people come back for seconds.\u00a0It is the nature of art lovers to create personal collections<\/em>, and being a part of the creative process is rewarding.<\/p>\n
