This copper triptych is recycled copper at its best. Time and nature do the transformation, and Mike sees the art in it.
No matter how you hang them, they tell a story of intrigue and adventure. The colors are both warm and cooling, soothing and invigorating. It all depends on the viewer and the imagination that is opened up.
There’s also a larger version about 2′ x 3′, and together they make a bold statement. I love that they change with the daylight, and send my mind into memories of looking for shapes and stories in the clouds on long summer days.
Is it any wonder that copper appeals to so many of our senses?
