I just can’t stop telling you about our copper water feature. It’s such a soothing place to unwind from the madness. The birds, toads, bees and butterflies all enjoy their retreat.
But last week we had a visitor that was new to the neighborhood.
Snake at the Watering Hole
Mike called me out to look and the snake was pressed up against the tower of the fountain, standing up on his tail!! drinking from the running water but, by the time I ran into the house to get the camera and got back to the porch-he had started to doubt his welcome. I hope he comes back again and enjoys our small offering. . . just not when I’m relaxing myself. I tend to be a bit leery of these slithering little creatures.
