Where do you enjoy your coffee in the morning? Where does your family gather for important meals that keep you connected? Does the table you settle down at evoke memories and invite conversation?
A copper table can be simple and primitive, or elegant and elaborate; either way, the experience is visual warmth and a tactile calming.
Copper is an antimicrobial material, it fights germs at the microbe level. That is a perfect reason alone to use it on a table top. Scratches and spills heal themselves, and become part of the character of the table.
Then there are its incredible artistic properties. Whether it’s left to age naturally, or given heat treatment to bring out its beautiful colors; left smooth and glossy or hammered deep for texture- it speaks to the nature lover’s soul. It can be paired with wood or rigid steel, accented with glass, or embossed and personalized.
Copper is that unique material that fits into design styles from contemporary to traditional, and everything in between.
This week we will be shipping a copper coffee table to Breckenridge. It is a version of Mike’s Stepped Table, custom made to fit the client’s specifications. The copper top is surrounded with alder-wood sections, each individually cut and finished, in the Molesworth style. We hope it will be a comforting place to relax for many years to come.
