One of our favorite accent lights coming out of the studio has been the Perfect Little Square steel sconce. It comes in a brushed finish or patinaed steel, and recently the rust finish I love so much.
Now we’re offering this little square with a primered finish that you can paint yourself. A DIY project that will let you create your personal design statement. Use it to add curb appeal to your home, match the front door color, highlight the trim, or customize it with your own pattern or motif.
Try a new faux finish with the metallic spray paints on the paint aisle at your hardware store. Create your own stencil or browse the craft store for paisleys and plaids.
Use it indoors to brighten up an entry, frame a collection, or bedside to read by. The possibilities are endless. The Primered Steel Sconce can be found in our shop where we hope you’ll find ideas to make your own personal design statement with innovative lighting and sustainable art.
How would you personalize this great little light? Would it welcome guests to your front door, or would you use 2 to frame your collection of dishes, books, or (fill in the blank)? Please join us in the comments below to add your favorite ideas.
Thanks.

I would definitely put something like this in the kitchen. I’ve got limited lighting in there and this would work….absolutely!
What color or pattern would you use Keisha? Glad you like them.
In all honesty, I would LOVE these lights on a color accent all with a floral print on them. Imagine having a teal wall with a stenciled rose in coral!
Thanks for sharing this adorable lighting idea!
Thanks Vanilla Nutmeg Chic! I love teal and coral, that would be awesome.
