A copper light sconce with a glass accent is just about the nicest combination of two organic materials there is. The copper is so naturally warm and the glass adds that cool contrast in texture, with a warm glow for accent that just livens up the whole piece.
Fused glass can be done in countless variations of colors, and the glass can be wrapped in copper, or inclusions fused into the piece.
The glass can be the main medium and accented with copper artwork.
The copper can form the structure and stained glass used to highlight the copper lighting.
The possibilities for combining the two materials in lighting and artwork are endless and Mike and I really enjoy collaborating on new ideas for our uniquely exciting and contrasting medium.
