It’s been hanging in my studio and I enjoyed the view. Some of my favorite pieces of glass were incorporated in this round; a piece from the Stellar’s Jay I made my son many years ago, a geode we bought in Springdale on a trip to Zion Natl. Park, some pebbles I made myself from black glass and a beautiful dichroic glass.
There were even 5 pieces of a teal and white swirl that were given to me from a yardsale find. We went all the way to Vegas to see if we could find some more of that color in a glass store there; they sometimes have older glasses that can’t be found online [It wasn’t there:( ].
That’s the way it is with glass; sometimes elusive, always intriguing. I just love it and working with pieces like this makes it my healthy addiction.
I hope Minnesota enjoys the cool colors and unique reflections for many years to come.
